Lucky Americans: Coterie.com

Are you American or, like me, have an American-address hookup (meaning someone who lives in the US and will forward along any items that you have delivered to them)? If so, you should check out Coterie.com, “…an exclusive, members-only site featuring an ultra-selective collection of the newest and most sought-after beauty products.”

Coterie.com hasn’t launched yet so it’s currently not selling anything. However, earlier this month during a special preview period, it did offer three Butter nail polishes, plus a top coat, for $36.

Normally it would cost you $60 to get that package. If Coterie.com’s future offerings are as good as that, I might be spending a lot of money on this site...

To differentiate itself from the many other sale sites out there, Coterie is creating what they’re calling, “The World’s First Virtual Vanity.” Below is a screenshot of this work-in-progress and I have to say, I am intrigued. I like to be organized and I like things that are organized so this virtual vanity idea really appeals to me.

The full site is set to launch sometime this month but if you sign up before Monday, September 17, you’ll get $25 off your first order when you use “VIPMEMBER” upon checking out. Future sales will include offerings from Stila, Kevyn Aucoin and even pricy Perricone MD.
