KeratinPerfect PerfectSmooth Blowout Booster Styling Cream

Thank you Sephora for introducing me to this wonderful item; it’s one of those rare products that promises the moon and then actually delivers it.

KeratinPerfect describes this product as a “multitasking styling and setting cream” that uses a “heat-activated keratin and collagen compound” to do a ton of things, including: Reducing blow-drying time, locking out humidity for “for all-day smoothness and frizz control” and increasing manageability, softness and shininess.

These are some big claims but amazingly, this cream meets all of them. A nickel-size amount of this product really did shrink the amount of time it took me to blow dry my hair and left it soft, manageable and very smooth.

I did do a side-by-side test with this product, comparing it with Bumble and Bumble’s Blow Dry balm by putting the balm on one half of my hair and the cream on the other half.  While both products were essentially equal in most areas, the KeratinPerfect one did leave my hair a touch shinier. It was also easier to use.

Unlike the balm, the KeratinPerfect product doesn't require that you slowly and carefully blow dry your hair to achieve maximum smoothness.

Another great aspect about this product is that it can be used on dry hair as well, to tame fly-aways.

A two-in-one product that actually delivers on its claims, it doesn't get much better than that in the world of beauty products.

Will I buy this product: I just might. It’s expensive ($41) but it works and since you just need a small amount, one tube should last for months.

Should you buy it: If the above price doesn't scare you off and you regularly blow dry your hair, this product is for you.
