Spark Sessions Swag

Spark Session Almay Gift BagI spent this past weekend at Spark Sessions, Toronto’s first-ever conference for fashion and beauty bloggers. While I will post a proper review of this terrific event later this week, I wanted to share with you now all the great swag I got.

We actually got two gift bags. Almay, the title beauty sponsor, ran its own little gifting suite and gave every attendee who checked out the suite a fantastic gift bag worth $70. In addition to explaining the products that we were receiving, the Almay reps also helped us pick the right shades and colours. Here’s the bag they put together for me (and yes, these are all full-sized products):
  • Smart Shade Power Blush in 10 Pink
  • Shadow Softies Eye Shadows in Moss and Vintage Grape
  • Lash Care Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads
  • Colour & Care Liquid Lip Balm in Lilac Love
  • Smart Shade Fond de Teint Mousse in 100 Light
  • Intense I-Color Volumizing Mascara in Sapphire
Then we also all received an event gift bag. While I don’t know the exact the value of this bag, the two Pure+Simple products are worth more than $60. Then there are a bunch of gift cards/certificates and a ton of other stuff. If I had to put a value on it, I’d go with at least $300.

  • Pure+Simple Skin Drink
  • Pure+Simple Hydration Serum
  • Two Revlon By Marchesa Nail Art 3D Jewel Appliques in Beaded Couture and Silk Rosette
  • Benefit They’re Real! Mascara
  • Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks in Khaki
  • Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Tease
  • Jospeh Nogucci Stone Bracelet
  • Matrix Exquisite Oil Softening Treatment
  • Blossom Everyday Mug
  • Masker Aide in All Nighter
  • Epic Blend Hemp Lip Balm
  • Ed Hardy Villain Eau de Toilette (vial sample)
  • The Simply Bar
  • Reusable shopping bag
  • $50 gift card for Homegrown Boutique
  • $50 gift card for Aime
  • Smart Set gift card in a mystery amount
  • Coupon for a free bottle of Spectro Cleanser
So in total, my $70 early bird tickets got me at least $370 worth of stuff. Not bad, not bad at all.

  1. I thought for a moment you were already posting about the event and I was going to say how impressive that was! I'm hoping to have my post up later this week. Incredible goodies, wasn't there? I still cannot believe it. I dropped by Smart Set yesterday and the gift card is for $75. Crazy? Absolutely.
    Take care!
