e.l.f.’s Essential Eyelid Primer

elf_Essential_Eyelid_Primer_review e.l.f.’s Essential Eyelid Primer is the final of my e.l.f. freebies that NailPolishCanada.com. It’s also the only e.l.f product that’s actually disappointed me.

Part of that is my fault. When NailPolishCanada.com contacted me and asked if I wanted to try some e.l.f. items out, I said sure and picked the primer as one of them. However, I failed to notice that this primer comes in three shades: sheer, Champagne and pearl. I was sent the pearl and quickly discovered that “pearl” actually meant “sparkly.”

When I first received this product, I immediately thought of NARS’ Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. The packaging is almost identical, as is the spongy applicator. The primer itself looks white, just like Smudge Proof. But then I put this primer on and it was sparkle city.

e.l.f. Shine Eraser Oil Blotting Sheets

elf_shine_eraser_oil_blotting_sheets_reviewA few weeks ago, the nice people at NailPolishCanada.com sent me several free goodies made by US brand e.l.f. I've already reviewed the two brushes I received here while today is all about e.l.f.'s Shine Eraser Oil Blotting Sheets.

Testing oil blotting sheets in December isn't ideal but I think I was able to get a pretty good sense of how this product works. e.l.f.'s claims for it are what you would expect for oil blotting sheets: "These amazing little sheets instantly absorb oil, minimize pores and transforms shiny skin into gorgeous matte perfection."
