Pureology Glossing Mist

Glossing hair sprays seem like one of those products that should be part of your daily beauty routine. However, I’ve never gotten in the habit of using one, mainly because I’ve yet to find one that really brings shine to my hair.

My latest glossing purchase sadly hasn’t changed that experience. I picked up Pureology Glossing Mist while at the L’Oreal warehouse sale a few weeks ago as part of a bundle that also includes a shampoo and conditioner. I’ve yet to use either of those two items but I’m really hoping that they work better than the mist.

I’ve given it several goes, trying different amounts at different angles, but the results are always the same: Nothing . At least it doesn’t make my hair sticky or greasy or anything like that. But it also doesn’t make it glossy.

I do have lighter-coloured hair so maybe someone with dark hair would have better results (glossing product do generally work better on brunettes) but still, I would like to think that I would get some visible benefit from this product.

The bottle does boast that this spray contains an “antifade complex” that will “…repair and protect” coloured hair so it might have some sort of long-term benefits but that’s not why I bought it.

Would I buy this again: No
Should you buy it: No
