Ferrara Pan Candy Cinnamon hearts

Healthy, fresh, authentic. These are not words I want to apply to any kind of candy cinnamon hearts I eat.

Instead, I want someone that’s packed with sugar, spicy “fake” cinnamon flavour and lots of crunch. And that’s exactly what I get with Ferrara Pan Candy Cinnamon hearts.

I picked up a 700 g container of these things from Walmart over the weekend for only $3 and I have to say that I am very pleased with what I got.

I was a bit worried that for that price, I would get something bland and waxy but nope. Even though this candy does come with required layer of bees and carnauba wax, you don’t notice it. Instead, all you taste is artificial cinnamon flavour and just the right amount of sweet, sweet corn syrup.

I also like that these hearts on the smaller side and are quite crunchy (unlike some brands where only the top is crunchy and the middle is sort of gummy).

Here’s to hoping that Walmart stocks this name brand next year.

Would I buy this again: Yes.
Should you buy it: If you love the unhealthy, sugary candy known as cinnamon hearts, then yes!
