Lancome Rouge In Love Lipstick

*The following is a mini-review because I only had a small amount of this product to try out*

Lancome has three main claims for its Rouge in Love lipstick line: It delivers high potency colour, it's featherlight and it lasts for six hours.

I'm pleased to report that I found the first two claims to be completely true. This is a light, easy-to-apply, easy-to-wear product that felt completely comfortable on my lips. It also delivers rich, eye-catching colour and with 24 shades to choose from, there is likely one that will work for you (my sample was a warm, bright pink that worked nicely with my pale skin tone).

As for the six hour claim, well, unfortunately because I was dealing with a small sample size I couldn't totally test that one out. I can though say that this product does a great job at staying in place until you start eating with it on. But while food might be its downfall, this lipstick does hold its own against multiple glasses of white wine.

Will I buy it: The next time I'm in the market for a high-end lipstick I will seriously take a closer look at the product. At $30 a tube, this isn't a cheap but it does look great on.

Should you buy it: I can see this product being a great, all-purpose lipstick (just put a bit of gloss over it and you've got lips that are night-time ready) so If you’re comfortable with the price, check it out.
