Revlon Chroma Chameleon Nail Enamel

I have found my new favourite nail polish: Revlon’s new Chroma Chameleon Nail Enamel. Sure, it hasn't quite been one week and I've only try out the one colour but trust me, it’s love.

OK, before I go any further, I need to state that I received my bottle of Chameleon polish for free as part of the Revlon Selects program. But please believe me when I say that I'm not gushing because I received this product for free, I'm gushing because this product is truly great.

“Shine in rich jewel tones with the sensation of sleek colour changing multi-chromes on your fingertips,” says Revlon and to that I say, “Yes please!” I simply love how this polish looks; somehow it manages to be two-tone in a way that’s almost elegant.  Gold, the name of the colour I received, has a jade green base colour that turns gold when the light hits it. It’s really quite pretty and surprisingly versatile, going with a wide range of clothing styles and colours.

The polish also has the perfect amount of shine and shimmer for me; enough to make it eye-catching but not so much that it looks like a polish that you could only wear at 1 am on a Saturday night.
But this product doesn't only look good; it also goes on like a dream. The polish itself isn't too thick or too thin and as a result it goes on so smoothly. You also don’t need a ton of product to get a gorgeous colour; three coats did it for me.

And once this product is on, it’s on. I applied it Sunday night and as of Thursday evening, it’s free of any cracks or chips and the only sign of wear are on the tips of my two index fingers (and no, I didn’t apply a top coat over it).  Now, the downside to this staying power is that any polish that ended up on my skin was a pain to take off but thanks to this product’s short, easy-to-use brush, I managed to keep most of the polish where it belonged.

There are a total of eight colour options in this line and as you can see over here, they are all gorgeous and sadly, only available for a limited time. This line just hit Canadian stores this week and I haven’t been able to track down a Canadian price for it but in the US, where these polishes have been on sale for a few weeks, the retail price is between $5-$9. I bet Shoppers will sell them for $8 something.

Will I buy this product:
Yes! While I already have a ton of nail polish and don’t need anymore, I think I will still be picking up at least a couple more bottles from this line because I really, really love how it looks, lasts and how easily it goes on.

Should you buy this product: Yes! Of course, you have to like a bit of shimmer and shine in your polish but as long as you’re good with that, this line will be a good match for you
