Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

I have been crazy-busy lately with work and just generally life, meaning that all things blog are being a bit neglected. However, since this is going to be a quick post, I do have time to squeeze it in.

I received two free packages of  Broadway Nails' imPRESS Press-on Manicure through Influenster, which is one of those product testing companies. I'm actually surprised that Influenster picked me for this VoxBox (what it calls its mailings) as I had previously received this product in another VoxBox and wasn't impressed.

Six months later, my opinion hasn't changed. While I can see the appeal of these products, Broadway claims that they "...achieve a flawless manicure in seconds," they just don't work on my nails. While each package contains 24 press-ons in 12 different sizes, there just aren't enough wide press-ons to properly cover my apparently massive nail beds. As a result, there are gaps of naked nail on either side of the press-on and that just looks weird and cheap.

Doesn't fit!
This product is supposed to be long-lasting, "...twice as long as other press-on nails," but I can't comment on that since these press-ons look too stupid on my nails to be worn for even an hour. They are also supposed to be quite comfortable but again, I can't really comment on that.

I will say that the one set came in a pretty and wearable iridescent purple shade that was shiny and smooth. If I could have, I would have happily worn it. However, the pattern one isn't quite my style.

imPRESS Press-on Manicure retails for around $9 for the solid colours and around $11 for the patterns and come in "high-shine colors, trendy designs and glam glitter." If you have small nail beds, they might be worth checking outthe idea is a great onebut skip these if your nails are on the larger side.

  1. You have the nails on upside down! They fit really well when you place the tab at the bottom near your cuticle!
