Some Fun Upcoming Events

January has a reputation as a bit of a “blah” month so it’s great to see that there are a few fun and beauty-packed events scheduled for the weeks ahead.

Next week, on January 18 and 19, the Yorkdale Sephora will be playing host to BITE Beauty, who will be on hand to preview its new, limited edition collection as well as mix up custom colours. This event is free to attend though I would think you're going to have to pay something to get a custom colour.

When: January 18, 3 pm-8 pm; January 19, 11 am-8 pm
Where: Sephora's Yorkdale location
Price: Free

Next up is Holt Renfrew’s Powder Puff Beauty party on Tuesday, January 22, which is being hosted by beauty blogger Emily Weiss. Emily, who’s the author of Into The Gloss and who recently launched a skincare guide with Holt’s website, will participate in a live Q and A with guests. There will also be “...exclusive previews of spring 2013 beauty products, prizes, complimentary beauty treatments, special offers and more.”

When: January 22, 7:30 pm-10 pm
Where: Holt Renfrew’s Bloor Street location
Price: $25, all of which is redeemable towards any beauty purchases of $75 or more made that night

Then at the end of the month is the Fashion and Beauty Night hosted by DaintyGirl.ca. This event promises,  “…fabulous discounts on fresh local fashion, personalized styling and a little pampering too!" There will also be light snacks and beverages.

When: January 29, 7 pm-9 pm
Where: Fresh Collective‘s Queen Street location (692 Queen St)
