Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer Review

A few weeks ago, when Make Up For Ever contacted me with the opportunity to try out its new Ultra HD Concealer, I jumped at the chance (so yes, I received this product as a free sample). I mean, what new mom won't want to try out free makeup that promises to, "covers dark circles, unifies the eye contour and hides signs of fatigue, leaving a smooth luminous flawless finish"?

Designed to "look invisible on 4K camera and to the naked eye," this product is supposed to be "natural and comfortable makeup." I couldn't agree more. It felt like I was wearing and it looked like I was someone who was consistently getting eight hours of deep, uninterrupted sleep (and while my baby's a pretty good sleeper, she's not that good).

Designed for the under-eye area, this concealer provided me with ample coverage to camouflage my dark circles, leaving the skin around my eyes looking bright, rested and smooth. (Don't believe me? Just check out the photos below.)

I did try this concealer out on other facial flaws and depending on what I was trying to hide, the results were anywhere from "made it disappear" to "look disguised from a distance." Since this is a  "medium coverage" product, these results don't surprise me.

MUFE also claims that this concealer blends easily and is long-wearing. I found that both of these claims were accurate as this product was a breeze to apply, thanks to its fluid consistency and silky finish. It also lasted for hours.

This concealer is a liquid makeup but, due to its small, rounded tip, it's not messy like most liquid makeup products. This tip makes it easy to squeeze out just the right amount of concealer.

Like all MUFE products, this one isn't cheap; it retails for around $32. However, for that price you get a product that works and that lasts, since a little goes a long way. It also comes in 10 shades and is designed for "all skin types."

Would I buy this product: Yes.

Should you buy this product: Yes.
